Chiguard^® 380W is a highly efficient and non-staining UV absorber, covering both UV-B and UV-C regions up to 380 nm.

It is based on a benzoxazinone structure, which provides short-term heat stability up to 350°C and long-term heat stability up to 160°C.

Through a proprietary process, Chiguard^® 380W is designed to dissolve quickly in PET resin, ensuring a transparent appearance even at high dosages.

Thanks to its non-staining and transparent properties, Chiguard^® 380W is ideal for film, sheet, and plate applications such as solar cells, window films, etc..

Additionally, Chiguard^® 380W is FDA-registered and approved for food contact applications, making it suitable for PET bottles and food wrap films.
