Introduction

Chiguard^® 460 is a solid hydroxyphenyl triazine (TRZ) UV absorber with a molecular design that results in a red-shifted UV spectrum. It exhibits an absorption peak at 348 nm, making it exceptionally effective at absorbing UVA wavelength region.

Due to its extremely high extinction, Chiguard^® 460 is well suited for protecting UV-sensitive colorants, polymers, and chemicals. It provides superior weathering resistance to coating or polymer systems.
