Chiguard^® 9546

Introduction

Chiguard^® 9546 is a newly-developed organic blue light absorber with a UV absorption peak at 403nm. This novel molecule is a cyanoacrylate base and features particularly high UV absorbance, low color, and good photo-permanence among its chemical family. 9546 has good solvent solubilities, allowing it to apply in a variety of coating systems. Due to its good thermal stability, it’s also suitable for use in plastic systems.
