Highly Effective Waterborne UV Stabilizer for Wood Coatings
Introduction
Chiguard® W-5481 (W-5481) is a highly effective waterborne UV stabilizer for wood coatings. It can achieve a better color protection with a lower dosage.
Lignin is sensitive to UV and turns yellow rapidly, while W-5481 shows a robust performance window after several different test environments. W-5481 also shows excellent long-term performance in stabilizing the discoloration of wood substrates with only half the dosage of commercial UV stabilizers.
