Chiguard^® W-5491 (W-5491) is a highly effective waterborne UV stabilizer for wood coatings. It can achieve better color protection with a lower dosage.

Lignin is sensitive to UV and turns yellow rapidly, while W-5491 shows a robust performance window after several different test environments.
