Introduction

Chiguard^® 5577 is a low volatility, high-performance ultraviolet light absorber of the hydroxyphenyl triazine class. It exhibits high compatibility with a variety of polymers and resin compositions. Chiguard^® 5577's non-basic nature makes it especially ideal for base-sensitive polymers such as polyester and polycarbonate.
