Chiguard® GA403
Innovative UV Shielding Agent Derived from Vanillin|Specially Designed for PET Food Packaging and Optical Protection
Chiguard® GA403 (GA403) is a novel UV shielding agent derived from vanillin. It shows high absorption in the UVA band, providing broad-spectrum UV protection in plastics such as PET, PC, and PA, while maintaining a very low initial color impact.
*Adding 1500 ppm GA403 to a 1 mm PET film can effectively block UV below 400 nm (up to ~405 nm) with minimal impact on initial color.
