Revonox® 420V is an eco-friendly antioxidant developed by Chitec Technology. As a phenol-free antioxidant derived from natural palm oil, it offers a sustainable solution to replace traditional tallow-based or phenolic antioxidants in plastic applications. Revonox® 420V stands out with its excellent melt processing stability, enhanced gas fading resistance, and outstanding color retention performance.
Using Chitec’s proprietary DAHA® technology, Revonox® 420V solves yellowing problems commonly found in phenolic antioxidants, making it an ideal choice for polyolefin antioxidants, especially in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE).
This high-performance antioxidant additive pairs well with phosphate ester antioxidants and light stabilizers like Deox 68 and Chiguard® 228. Together, they improve melt stability, weather resistance, and long-term durability in PP and PE-based applications such as fibers, films, and automotive TPO.
Recommended dosage levels range from 0.05% to 0.15%, depending on the polymer type and application needs. Revonox® 420V is a versatile, sustainable PP/PE antioxidant solution for manufacturers seeking to enhance performance while meeting green material standards.
